ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the IAE AIX Alumni Association.

This website is for anyone and everyone who has studied, worked, or just has an interest in the IAE of Aix en Provence. We hope that you will use it and contribute to it regularly.  This site is a great place to keep in touch with former friends, to develop your professional network , get the latest news about the services and events organised by the association, have access to career services and job offers and also get involved in the association’s activities.
 
The main aims of the association are to grow the reputation of the IAE of Aix-en-Provence, in France and internationally, and to promote and protect the interests of the students and alumni.
 
In particular, our missions are to :
 
  1. Foster and perpetuate the friendships made by students during their time at the IAE and to build on these relationships to link together all alumni from all programmes and promotions.
 
  1. Supply all means (member directory, website, newsletter …) and propose a wide variety of activities (social events, business clubs, theme-based activity groups, conferences and debates …) in order to facilitate communication links and exchanges between members and partners.
 
  1. Develop structures and activities permitting mutual assistance and information-sharing about professional opportunities and career development:
    • During student life, by encouraging alumni in employer positions to offer work placements and internships to students engaged in training programmes, and then to facilitate their entry into professional life,
    • and later, to continue the professional training of members after obtention of their diploma  (workshops, conferences, consulting activities …) and offer guidance in their professional choices
 
  1. Organise professional cooperation, through the sharing of experience and information, the organisation of combined research activities and any other useful and pertinent means
 
  1. Cooperate and exchange with other associations having similar objectives in France and abroad, creating relationships with any other academic institution with a similar vocation to that of the IAE
 
  1. Systematically maintain cooperative relationships with all government bodies, corporate networks, and other stakeholders involved in local and national economic development, in order to promote the reputation and visibility of the IAE and facilitate the professional insertion and progression of graduates
 
  1. Provide all possible moral and material support to the AIX IAE to second it in its teaching mission, enabling it to continually provide training courses that anticipate and satisfy the needs of businesses and the economy in general, and notably:
    • Reflect on and provide suggestions concerning the AIX IAE’s strategy,
    • Participate in the national and international promotion of the school’s reputation and visibility and of the notoriety of IAE and AIX IAE brand image
    • Help the AIX IAE in its search for financing,
    • Coordinate our communication activities with those of the AIX IAE.
 
  1. Promote and protect the attributes of IAE AIX diplomas, grow the world-wide reputation of the school name, the quality of its professorial staff and of its research activities
 
  1. And in general, to engage in any action that will directly or indirectly support the above objectives
